Product Information
Tirmatian astronomers have discovered that a temporal rift in space/time is heading for<br>their home planet. Since Tirmat is on the brink of destruction, the Tirmatians devise a plan<br>to conquer Earth, the nearest inhabitable planet. They travel back in time, before Earth<br>developed sophisticated weapons, to five different time zones of Earth's history. After<br>learning of the Tirmatian plan, the leaders of Earth send some men back in time via a<br>prototype travel system. The entire human assault force is immediately destroyed, save<br>Dr. Vincent Gilgamesh.<br><br>Time Slip for the SNES puts you in the role of Vincent Gilgamesh, a doctor<br>who also happens to be good with weapons. Your job is to run and jump through six<br>stages of play, shooting or avoiding tons of weird aliens, giant bosses, and brainwashed<br>Earthlings. The stages take place in the following places and time periods: Medieval<br>Britain, The Cretaceous Period, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, The Recent Past, and<br>Modern Day Tirmat. At certain times throughout the game, you'll ride a Jet-bike. Also,<br>you'll solve a few minor puzzles.<br><br>In addition to your standard firepower, you can pick up Grenades, Bazookas, Bubble<br>Bursters, Smart Bombs, 3-Way Guns, Time Bombs, Shields, and Shots, which increase<br>your standard firepower. You can also pick up items to increase the energy and power of<br>your Time Suit.
