The item arrived brand new as shown however it was only wrapped in plastic wrap and did sustain some damage to the outside of top and bottom (made of particle board) looks like it was tossed around by the carrier. I got a good deal on the item and the seller offered a small refund, next time use better shipping materials and methods.
