    Shipped quickely and they have an attractive price

    The new replacement brake pads aren't of the best quality but they do serve the needs of my kids. For instance, when I tightened down the chrome plated decorative acorn nuts in order to secure the pads to the bikes caliper, the acorn nuts outer housing themselves would simply shatter therefore, I had to use the old nuts that were on the worn out brake pads I was replacing. Additionally, they had to be filed down to put an angel to the new pads in order for them to conform to the bikes angled steel wheel configuration, thus allowing the pads rubber surface to correctly contact the bikes wheel for maximum stopping efficiency. The did ship to me quickly and of course the price was quite attractive.

    Threaded stud is to short, could not thread the bolt on. I had to order a different set that fit. The breaks are basic standard breaks on a 26" ross bike and the breaks dent to me might be for a kids bike. I didn't send them back it wasn't worth the return shipping cost. I need another set for my other Ross vintage bike but will order from where i got the higher quality breaks.

    Squeal

    I tried these new brake shoes because my old ones were squealing. These new ones squeal so loud that it hurt my ears. Going to toss them. Do not buy them!!!

    Ultimately unsafe to use

    The dome on the bolt end broke off and the brake pad fell off of the mount. The length for the is too short and not enough to safely tighten to brake calipers.

    Squeaks

    Even after twisting brake arms and shaving flush with the rim brakes squeak. With no actual package included I can’t date the brakes but my assumption is they are old. Skip these visit your local bike shop or convenient store.
