    Chemical Aftertaste - Blame the Maltodextrin!

    I tried this and it tastes awful compared to the competition "Monk Fruit Sweetener" by Health Garden (in the Amber-Yellow bag). You can blame the bad taste on the MaltoDextrin that was combined with the monkfruit. It gives this Monkfruit a bad chemical taste. Sort of like when you drink Orange Juice immediately after brushing your teeth! The same bad taste is in their other product SPLENDA -IN-THE-RAW because they combine it with Maltodextrin, too. Same bad chemical aftertaste in that one, too.

    not very sweet

    Two words. IT'S NASTY. Also have to use 2 tbsps. to sweeten my coffee. Not very cost efficient.

    Taste like sugar and healthier for you.

    This is the best alternative to a sugar substitute I have found. It doesn't leave an aftertaste like Splenda or some of the others. I prefer it over Stevia. If you are trying to cut out sugar give this a try.
