As for the item itself, it came packaged in the factory Vortex box and included all accessories since it was new.     Vortex Recce Pro Monocular A True Handheld Spotting Scope

    Vortex filled a niche with the Recce Pro HD that needed filling, the mid-priced regular sized monocular with above average optics, good armor and fully waterproof. First my minor complaints, The Molle case. While Coyote Tan is a great color, Black or even Grey would have been a more tactical color choice. Plus a little more room in the case to easily put the scope in either way. It's a well made case and protects the scope but just a bit more room would make it easier to case it with one hand. Also it's not waterproof although the scope has excellent waterproofing from Vortex, If you're like me and want to keep it safe find a waterproof pouch to keep it in for wet conditions. Now on to the good, the 8x32 may seem a bit small to some but the 393ft field of view is wider than a lot of 8x42 ...
