      Almost as good as the old USA model after adding hand grip opening feature.

      It is not as sturdy as the Made in USA versions we bought more than 20 years ago. The wire gauge is slightly smaller and the handle diameter is also a bit smaller. However, they get the job done...I immediately modified the picker with a pull open hand grip like the one I bought years ago. Simply cut a piece of PVC pipe 6 inches long and attached a clothes hanger piece of wire that fastened to one side of the Picker to facilitate quick drop of nuts without having to bend over.

      I am sorry that the review could not be more positive , but what a mjajor let down!! It is cheaply made and a pain to use.

      The concept is ideal. With a better design and perhaps a stronger longer handle, and an easy way to remove the nuts you gather, it would be useful. I was fooled by the advertising. Don't expect much for your money. There's got to be a better way! Nuts do roll in okay, its getting them out that is pain, and having to bend over and pull the wires apart to ket the nuts out is a pain. It is way overpriced for what you get.

      pecan picker

      its OK for the price they charge compared to the other style. it picks up pecans just fine for the first few, then the bolt that holds the handle to the head comes lose every time its used. it needs to have a lock washer on the bolt and cross bar to keep the head secure.
