Expect extra work and extra parts to make it work. The outlet fitting uses smaller screws than your original, 10-32X3/4" instead of 12-24X3/4" that the original used. The outlet fitting is different on the inside, so you'll have more unusable fuel left in your tank. Your old filler cap won't fit correctly, either. You can't use your old clip-nuts for the mounting. You'd better be creative.
