I'm 155 pounds and the material wrapped around the bars is already stretching causing the whole bed surface to get a bowl shape, I am waking up three to four times a night cause I am getting stuck trying to turn over. I have had this four nights, and is alr day showing signs of wear, like the bed surface is wrinkled when I'm not on it.

The instructions are just small images. There are no words or steps to describe how to put the kennel together. So, yes, I would say worse than IKEA.
