In the pictures below Original hue and cartridge on the top. Number on the black stripe below the 0.7mm and even the plastic of the cartridges are different. The hue of the ink is not the same obviously. I bought and returned some from Amazon and they were not only completely horrible but also with another different number on the stripe. How come Cross allows the Chinese to manipulate their product so badly?

I don't recall if they stated the manufacturing date of 01/2017 (so now 7 years old), so I had a little concern at first about their "new" condition. Tested one of the five refills included, and it had the usual little rubber sealed cap inside the bigger cap, and wrote very well, seeming pristine and indeed new. One of the five refills was missing the little internal cap seal, but wrote fine. I will probably order more!!
