Nine tracks of slowly evolving, densely construed floating melodies of harmonically rich synthesizer pads, natural ambiences and dramatic percussive punctuations evoke the otherworldly treasures and solemn meditations of such a wondrous, haunting place. Reminiscent of subtler, true ambient works by masters like Steve Roach or Brian Eno, Atmospheres dwells in the landscape of expansiveness and introspection, a space music of the internal kind.
