    Excellent Hearing Protection

    I love these ear plugs. They are my second pair (lost the first pair). I like how they are comfortable for extended wear. With the outer holes open, you can hear normal conversataions pretty good. For noisier environments, put the little plugs in the outer holes and you're good to go.

    They were just OK

    They fit fine but the minute I stepped into the gun range, I had to go back to the other type headsets. NOT for use on gun ranges but may be okay if you are outside shooting.

    Blocks loud sounds but lets you hear conversations

    I use these when running the lawnmower or power tools. The Hocks Brake system blocks loud sounds but will let softer sounds through so you can hear someone talking when the mower is off. The fit is very comfortable. With the stopper out they don't create that hot, itchy inner ear feeing that most plugs do. With the stopper in they block more sound but aren't as comfortable.

    Best hearing protection available in an earplug

    I'm new to this style of hearing protection but have read in various articles, and online reviews, that they provide the most hearing protection available from an "earplug". They remain firmly in place in the ear, unlike foam earplugs that work loose most of the time. The SureFire also have a tunnel that sounds can travel through if needed, and a cap closes that tunnel for the best protection. I plan to wear these under my electronic muffs for the maximum hearing protection available anywhere. Also, and this is a big plus, the seller offered them at a very reasonable price when compared with other retailers that I looked at. And I received them in less than a week and in perfect condition. Buy them here.

    Great

    I have used these earplugs for years when riding my motorcycle and also when mowing the lawn. They block loud noises very well yet I can still hear traffic around me. Great for concerts when the band is loud, just leave the plug out.
