    This person is either misinformed or just a liar. These came from an army depot supply purchased from WWII surplus by RSR in Geneseo, IL many years ago. I purchased them from Bob Reese, founder of RSR in the early 1990's. I took them out of the original GI boxes of 10 each myself.
