Switch over time is 20ms if power is lost and you have a Smart Panel 2. Connect solar and you can conceivably have power for a good while. People go off grid with these devices. Look them up on YouTube. If you don't want a loud, high-maintenance, expensive generator, this is an awesome alternative.
