Great, beautiful, stylish watch
Great watch. Beautiful, dressy, manly. Looks great on my wrist. Very shiny, both the watch and the band. The band, with enough links for even the largest wrist, is very easy to size and take links out. Was easy to sync up with the atomic clock in Fort Collins, CO. Synched up with the first try at 2am, and only took a few minutes. It has a dial to tell you if you're getting a good radio reception, showing Low and High as signal strength and showing "Y" for yes signal received and "N" for no signal receieved. Has 24hr dial showing AM and PM. And at the 6 o'clock position a dial showing minutes for the chronograph. The second hand for the watch is at the 9 o'clock position, and the large 1/5th hand is for the chronograph, although I wish it was the other way around. I don't know why Seiko ... Great watch. I don't know why Seiko makes their watches that way. That's not the way my Citizen is and that's not the way my Casio MTG is. Anyway, I'm kinda disappointed at the LumiBright hands and marker. And I say marker because there is only 1 marker that has LumiBright, and that's the 12 o'clock marker. Very disappointed with that. But I had read that LumiBright was a very good Seiko trait and that it was brighter than most watches. Not so with this watch. It's bright alright, when you 1st expose it to light but it doesn't last long. On the 5th sec. hand there's only a tiny spec of LumiBright, same at the 12 o'clock marker. And the 5th sec. hand you can only see for about 15 minutes in total darkness. The hour and min. hand you can only see for about 40 minutes then it's gone. That's the only thing I don't like about this watch, that's why I only gave it 4 stars coz of the intensity and lack of LumiBright. Other than that I love the watch. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Room for Improvement
Just bought this radio controlled watch. I own, for years, the Citizen “Blue Angles” radio controlled watch; in the same price range as the Seiko. I thought that its color was brushed; kind of disappointed that it was shiny (Very difficult to tell from the Pics). Also, it would be nice if the Stopper hand will show seconds rather than using the small hand to do so. And, practically, no lume on the indexes. Oh, and yes, needs manually to be adjusted for DST (Really?). No question in my mind that the Citizen is much better buy. Just bought this radio controlled watch. Excellent watch. A little tricky to get set manually but once synched to the time server, it's been perfect. Mine out of the box took a couple days to find the signal ??? , but once it did, it I now see a strong signal, no matter where I am (Central OH) It has been spot on since. It was operationally charged out of the box, with 1 second hand movement. Plenty of power to reset time manually, even after my learning experience. I wore it outside to insure a solid charge, but 3rd night I wore it, it synched 1 hour off EST home. I forgot about DST, easy to fix. Strange it didn't find the signal sooner though.Excellent watch.
