The silver parts of the boring tools were covered in plastic to protect the surfaces that are inserted into the boring head. This plastic was easily removed. I ordered this tool on Thursday and it was shipped the same day, The package arrived on Saturday. Overall a rapid response. Satisfactorily checked out adjusting the inserted tool heads. Very well made. Plan to use it in turning rings.
