Now some times when I burn the dvd it returns, verified. Most of the time it can’t verify. I seems to be because the burner is external and can’t auto eject and close to verify. Double layer is still saying low power laser calibration. Haven’t tried Blu-ray yet.

The chipset is compatible with those device drivers, at least for reading archival CDs and DVDs. I haven't tried burning Blu-Ray disks with it yet but it does read everything I've put in it so far.
