    Great modeling amp

    Great amp. Super loud. I personally don't need all the effects but amp modeling is fun. Loud enough to jam with a drummer or use for a small gig without mics. Extremely customizable. It has tube amp qualities. Takes a while to turn on like a tube amp. Great amp for the price got mine for around $80 used. If all you need is a basic practice amp and can't find one for less than $100 get a vox pathfinder 15 instead. That said awesome amp. Wish there were more threads on dialing in specific genre specific sounds. But playing with it for a hour, you'll find tons of great tones. Also it has modeling for ac30 which is cool. I prefer its basic and blues amp sims. Get a foot switch. Even with pedals the built in over drives are great and worth switching to.

    Bang for the buck

    It's pretty impossible to beat the value of a used Vox VT20x modeling amp. Before these modeling amps came out, it would cost hundreds in pedal effects and a good amp to not even achieve what this thing is capable of. For a home practice amp that won't break the bank, this is the one you want.

    Very light weight but heavy duty (nice) sound.

    I think this is the perfect amp for sound, sound quality at lower volumes, nice offered preset effects, it really stands up to the well known Vox value at a really affordable price. I love this thing! It does have a proprietary powered cord, not the usual computer like cord, so you have to make sure you never lose it. Which won't happen if you just play at home, but if you gig.... well you know what I mean.
