My suggestion is to sit in a higher chair because sitting at the same level makes it difficult to use. It's a bit unstable too. I bought this for my grandma so you got to take the good with bad. Yes its lightweight but if she needs to move it herself she can. You can always add some weight on top of the legs to make it a stable. My grandma hasn't tried it yet so no review on senior use. Hopefully she likes it.
