The shipping came a little later than expected but it was worth the wait. I expected the packaging to be in a box but it came in plastic bubble wrap and tissue paper. The good this is that she kept it very safe from damage and I don’t care what it’s wrapped in aslong as it gets here. The value of the product was amazing, the boot is authentic and very well kept. Would love to know more about how the seller acquired this item. I think I just paid over $100 for a $25 reproduction item, so bummed. This Victorian Bird has the 2nd back pin cushion and the round metal "nail head" on the tail...exactly like all the Antique Birds. Reproductions do not have the 2nd cushion or the "nail head" on the tail. Mine was shiny as it was kept in an old antique lunchbox which is what I shipped it in.
