    Not what expected, the PL259 center pin goes all the way through the insulator and shows up on the inside so can easily short to the braid when using a UG175 adapter if not carefully assembled as in the cheaper chinese connectors. But still rating this transaction positive as otherwise connector is good. However I suggest that you post a picture showing the inside of the connector viewed from behind so others can see this detail of the protruding center pin which is very important.

    Excellent connectors. The best on ebay. I soldered up two of them last night to some LMR-400 cable without a hitch. Nice. The silver and gold plating took solder real well. The Teflon inner center held up under the heat as expected. Thank you.

    An Excellent Connector

    Excellent PL259 plugs, high quality and easy to solder. Far superior to cheaper types, you get what you pay for. We use them with an LMR400 equivalent cable made by Shireen. Using heavy duty shrink tubing with internal adhesive to cover the cable and juncture point with this connector yields excellent results.

    Pack of 10 Silver Plated PL-259's

    Gold plated center pin with Silver plated body and barrel make installing these much easier. Using lots of Flux & a 100W Weller Gun means it's short work of making the necessary solder connections that ensure a good bond to both Shield & Inner Conductor. Worth every penny!

    High Quality - Great Product

    Had to do some immediate repairs by cutting conduit and putting new ends on each piece of wire. Ends worked very well with minimum work. I strongly recommend them to ham operators. It's good to have some around for unanticipated needs.
