      Not an actual Vivitar Microphone

      Make 100% sure the mic is a Vivitar if that's what you're searching for. This one I was sent was similar to a $4 Chinese one I got off eBay just to try. I bought the actual Vivitar one about 3 years ago and it has the quality I needed as I use it for a motorsports environment (car racing). The knockoffs tend to have some distortion after a certain decibel level.

      Don't order if you have a new hero or 4k.

      The wrong end that goes into the camera comes with it. I had to order an adapter to make it work.
