    Could be better quality...

    First off, you get the feeling of quality because of the weight. Feels sturdy. The first thing i noticed is the base plate is not the thickest steel. When you bolt it down, do not over tighten the bolts. It will crush the plate. Second, the magnet is not the best. My hand held capper has a great magnet. This magnet fell out after using it for ten minutes. Third, the slide is so hard to use. Not smooth at all. You really have to man handle it to adjust. Other than that, once you have it dialed in, it works pretty good. I had to put the caps on the bottles which made it a little time consuming. The caps seem to be on tight, so far I have not had any leaks. If the adjustment had a locking button, I feel, would be better than the auto adjust. Overall I will keep it, but I know my wife ...

    Good Capper Gone Bad

    Alas, after 20 years of capping, my original Agatha needed to be replaced. The new one has two major problems: the plastic piston to which the metal cap housing attaches has flimsy threads (I stripped them the very first time I twisted it off); the reason this is a problem in itself … the 29mm bell housing for larger caps requires the removal of the 26 bell housing. Thus, planned obsolescence will ruin the Agatha in short order.

    Worthless flimsy garbage, seriously, don't buy this capper.

    Thin plastic body arrived cracked and unusable. If you are going to spend $50. on a capper, it should be high quality and constructed of metal, or at least substantially thicker plastic. Maiden Chie Nah?

    To much plastic esp in critical parts, the capper broke off only held by cheap plastic on the third bottle to cap at a much needed time. DO NOT BUY !!
