Using the stock head unit for not but these allow for even better sound with a new head unit or amplifier. Highs are well balanced...not too crisp like kickers tend to be. Added some dynamat and will add the sound cone next week.

So, I decided to install these speakers in the back doors (I already installed 6 X 9 Infinitys in the front doors). They're advertised to work well with OEM stereo systems/head-units due to their high sensitivity--and they sure do! BTW, I don't have the high-end stereo system. I also used foldable, silicone baffles on all four speakers, which I got from eBay. Very happy. Good vendor & best price!
