Using Liquid Crystal Display technology, the Hitachi CP-X940 gives perfectly sharp images with no geometric distortion. Environmentally-friendly, this LCD projector uses less electricity and produces only a small amount of heat. This Hitachi multimedia projector comes with 1000 ANSI lumens, which provides brightness that is just right for any conference room presentation. A 12-watt UHP (ultra high performance) mercury arc lamp gives the brightness necessary to show information graphically and engagingly. In addition, the Hitachi CP-X940 has an extended graphics array that offers a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, giving a high resolution for this type of projector. Offering 2000 lamp hours, this Hitachi multimedia projector ensures reliability even for heavy usage. An acceptable 200 to 1 contrast ratio displays graphics vividly against dark backgrounds. Optical features include an aspect ratio of 4:3 which gives the number of horizontal pixels in relationship with the vertical pixels for this LCD projector. A knob that allows manual zooming and focusing lets users adjust projected images for maximum viewing of information presented with the device. Video technology choices include NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, SECAM, and Composite and S-Video. Moreover, the throw distance from this projector to the screen ranges from 1.20 to 12.20 meters making it useful in many corporate environments. For a portable device that offers crisp and detailed images and is built for long-term use, the Hitachi CP-X940 meets both business and personal needs.
