The picture quality isn't as great as dedicated a fisheye (e.g. 8mm Rokinon f3.5), and I haven't been able to get good astrophotography photos with it (stars all get squashed), but for the price, this is a bargain.

It's a scam. It doesn't have the 77mm threaded optics like other larger cameras and lenses, but it does have the 58mm thread that Canon has on various SLR lenses. Using the smaller one creates a black wheel tunnel in 77mm from 58mm and after using the zoom, i.e. getting rid of the black edges, it blurs and degrades the quality of the images, it does not create 180 degrees
