I carefully followed the detailed washing instructions on the linens because they were very stiff. Please look at the photos to see how the colors faded from the napkins. It is so disappointing because I was looking forward to using the linen, but the napkins are too distressing. Care Instructions sewn on the items: Machine wash in cold water, gentle cycle. No bleach. Tumble dry, gentle cycle. Remove promptly. Iron on reverse side if needed. These embroidered table linens are washable. They wouldn't fade if you washed them in COLD water with NO BLEACH as instructed.
