      This thing is FAST!

      This thing is FAST! It's at least as fast as my Spectrum cable broadband. I'm using it with a T-Mobile prepaid data plan (yes it works with T-Mobile). Even in my basement home office, I'm getting a steady 4 bars, of 5G, with no dropouts. It has jacks for external cellular antennas. But unless you're in a deep fringe area, you probably won't need an external antenna. I really like that is has an ethernet port on it as well. My desktop doesn't have WiFi so that port came in very handy.

      great unit if it can receive an adquate signal.

      Excellent unit, quality through and through, our issue was simply the usual problems in rural areas with the internet signal itself coming to the Night Hawk. We returned the unit only because of our weak signal, we had to go with fixed internet from a very sorry company but it is all we had for a choice.

      Great option for mobile internet!

      Needed these (bought two) for my new property where there only internet option was Hughes Net (use pigeons over them). ATT had 5g with two or three bars consistently so we use these for our homes internet. I'm going to assume that with better coverage my service would be better, but it doesn't have anything to do with the unit.

      Nighthawk MR5100

      I replaced an older LTE cellular wireless hotspot modem. As I haven't changed to 5G it works the same but is more advanced. I can run with both 2.4 and 5 ghz channels that allows my older wireless printer to work also.
