Local mechanic quoted $5000 to replace the turbo, the cat (which isnโt compatible with the updated turbo Ford sells after discontinuing the 2012 version), misc parts, and labor. Thought giving this turbo a go on the chance it worked and doing the work myself was worth it. Took about 10-12 hours to swap the bad for the good, a few swear words, and at least one Hail Mary, and everything is going fine so far. Knock on wood. Very happy!
