The regular MS250 uses a different carburetor. Having tried an after market carburetor I would say don't waste your money. Although half the price of an OEM carburetor, you don't save money if the part does not work. My chainsaw started on the third pull with the OEM carburetor and did not bog down at higher rpm. Bottom line, buy the OEM.
