    Powerful and Quiet

    This inverter is larger than its competitors and requires two cables from a battery to the unit. That's about it for downside. I hooked it to my emergency battery and flicked the power switch which started the fans momentarily and then nothing but quiet as I started testing shop tools with the power output. I haven't tried connecting a Microwave but this should handle the load with no problem..

    Functions as described

    Purchased this to use with my Remington pole saw. I carry a large 12vdc storage battery and the inverter around my large wooded property in a small utility trailer behind my lawn tractor. Along with a 25' extension cord, it works beautifully for trimming limbs that I am unable to reach.

    Workhorse

    I used mine for the first time, powering a triple crock pot (that's 3 crock pots in 1) at a picnic. I kept my truck running the whole time, but the power never wavered. I even had the cooking going through a 50 feet extension cord. This is the real deal!

    Lots of power

    I did a review and you can watch it on the You Tube channel Mundane Lark. This product provides more power than I had hoped. I was able to run a microwave, hair dryer, and hand drill all at the same time. I put it on the oscilloscope and it has a standard modified sine wave. At low input the voltage the wave becomes more of a square wave. It seems to me to be a powerful and effective cheap modified sine wave inverter. I'm glad I bought it.

    Need to know about this power inverter!!!

    The cable clamps that are included for the car battery. These clamps are only 12 gauge wire. This is not enough for the full 2000w continuous power. You will need to purchase 1/0 awg cable and 1/0 awg lugs with a 1/4" hole M6 ring. To get 2000w continuous power. If not it won't work properly or you will fry the inverter or whatever is plugged into it.
