    Steel bolts (good) and plastic, cone-shaped "nuts" (bad) not a secure connection

    The toilet seat is great. The quick-release action is good. The steel bolts and plastic "nuts" provided with the seat do not make a secure connection. When I installed the seat with the accompanying parts, the seat was not secure and would lift right up and out of the bolts. I modified the attachment method and re-used the plastic bolts and screws from the seat I was replacing. The seat now is secure and the quick release is very functional.
