    Item was as described. In used condition it was still serviceable and will work well for my needs. As with any "Re-cycled" part I will clean and prep it then repaint it as needed then prepair it for installation and use. The packaging was a little overkill for a metal bracket.     The step rails arrived as described, but how they shipped them caused damage to the end of both step rails. They only used duct tape on the box ends which didn’t hold up in shipping, the good news is I will have to shorten the rails, I will have to cut off the damaged ends.

    82 Yamaha XJ 750 Starter Rebuild

    I knew I needed to rebuild the starter as I opened it up and found all the original components! No complaining when it went 34 years before needing some attention. It is a good idea to pay careful attention to all the positions of the various spacers, washers, nuts and especially bolt. I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled in record time, pushed the starter button and was rewarded with the whine of the starter motor. I had reversed the brushes! LOL After about 15 more minutes I was up and running. The kit provides o-ring replacement, shaft bearings as well as brushes, plate and most everything you need to do a general rebuild. This kit will not help rebuild the shaft or gears, at that point I would look for a good used replacement myself. I would highly reccomend this kit for any bike ...

    Looks close to the original. Mirror mount is at a different angle And the hydraulic brake line mounts at a different spot, but it works. definitely need to change both clutch and break as the Mirror mount Angles out more than the originals do on a Honda V30 & V65 Magna. Don't know about the V40 or V45 as I don't own One of them to compare.
