      It's definitely not a toy

      This saw is so small and light that it looks and feels like a toy. It is not a toy. It is a very capable saw that is ideal for in-tree limbing or for small clean up jobs. Although the saw will cut anything you would want to tackle with a 12-inch bar, it is happiest cutting no more than 8-10 inch diameter trees. The battery provides approximately 20-25 minutes of cutting per charge (about the same amount of cutting you get from one tank of gas with a similar gas-powered saw). It's so much fun to use, I find myself looking for excuses to run it. If you're looking for a small saw, you won't go wrong with this one.

      False Advertisement Total Rip Off

      The item was originally advertised as "open box" only. It never said "TOOL ONLY" or "missing chain" when I ordered. It also had a picture of the battery and charger as if it was all included. This item was totally fulse advertised. I ended up having to buy a battery, charger, and chain separately. It ended up being more expensive if I just bought the whole set directly from someplace that sold the whole set.

      I’d advise interested in buying a small size with a lot of power to buy the ECHO 12inch DCS2500T!

      The ECHO DCS 2500T is an amazing saw!! It’s got the capabilities of a small gas powered chainsaw but saves you at least 2lbs of the weight. The battery life is very good 👍 it’s just an all-around great SAW! I have friends that are arborists and they think this is a great electric saw….

      Best investment I’ve made yet!

      I’m cutting pallets for my wood burner using a carbide chain. It’s light weight easy to use and the battery lasts for quite awhile. Way better and easier than my 14”gas stihl. Much quieter to.

      Great saw

      The saw is super light and well balanced with the battery. I have climbed with it several times and was able to take down a whole medium sized pine with it. I replaced the stock bar/chain with a 1/4 pitch setup and it has much less chatter and the battery seemed to last longer.
