    Affordable and easy to build model of a rare prototype.

    One of the few models that exists of WWII era US Army fuel tankers that does not need significant modification or effort to build. Athearn makes a fine basic product which is easy to assemble and with a bit of care and fine-tuning can operate without incident. Their Special Edition series from the late 1990's - early 2000's have some of their popular items with paint and decorating schemes not offered in their traditional Blue Box lineup or their ready to run models found today.
