      Very soft, has a longer fleece. The size is for mid size to small feature hat size. So if your hat size is is an XL it might not fit. My hat size is equal to 23" in circumference. So I would not go past that. It needs washing so a nice hand wash with lots of soap and water , squeeze out several times and air dry probably would do well, before wearing it for the first time! Looks to be well made and will be warm and comfortable good also for blending in with the color of snow!
