    Better than expected.

    I was looking for a long, durable cord to power a small automotive air compressor. The two cords I had purchased before this had built-in fuses. Both units blew the fuses (3w & 10w), and melted the plugs during their first use. Junk. This cord has robust materials and does not have a built-in fuse. It functions flawlessly and I expect it to keep the little air compressor working for years to come. Thanks!

    Extremely poor quality

    Wire gauge is extremely small, I would say 14 - 16 gauge with thick nylon coating to make it look bigger. The actual cigarette lighter housing is poorly made, came apart extremely easily. There is no fuse in the male part. Could not supply enough amps to run a viair compressor for more than 15 seconds, the compressor worked fine without the extension.

    .....just what you need !

    ..i have owned TWO of these for almost two years and with abrasion resistant, silicone like covered cable , I've had no issues. Like ANY PLUG OR SOCKET , never pull on the cord ! A good value.

    Ok extention cord but the cord.

    This cord is a good quality product but the cord at one end will turn inside the connector. So with my fear of the cord breaking inside the connector, I put E1000 glue around the opening to keep it from twisting. Should be ok after that.

    Heavy Duty...

    This extension is heavy gauge wire with the male/female ends. It is very nice quality. I would definitely purchase it again and do recommend it to other's.
