    a little disappointed

    I was looking for a less expensive alternative to the HU 26 joist hangers that I had used so successfully in the past. These are a lot lighter gauge steel and they either have to be bent inward to snug up against the 2"x4" studs or the attached to the stud and then attached to the beam. Either way, it's a pain in the neck. The old saying "you get what you paid for" applies. I'm using them but I won't buy them again.
