      Glycine Airman 42 GMT GL0069 (full lume dial)

      The quality is very high. The case and buckle have PVD coating, printing on deal is very sharp and crisp, lume looks spectacular by night, the NATO strap is of higher quality too, the rotor is decorated with a vintage airplane, the back crystal is tinted, front crystal is sapphire and the case has high quality finishing. Even the numbers in the date window are always perfectly centered. Both crowns are engraved, the one at 4 that holds the GMT bezel in place has the Glycine logo, and the main crown at 3 has a chess board finish. The main crown is screwed down and the watch is water resistant up to 100 m. The movement in this particular model is based on a Sellita SW330-1, it changes the date instantly and almost exactly at midnight. The GMT hand has no play and displays the time ...

      Excellent Watch. Unique.

      Glycine Airman non-purist with yellow dial. This is a unique watch that gives the ability to track 3 time zones; 2 on a 24hr scale (the main hands run on a 12hr scale). While I think that these tools aren’t that useful as I can do the calculations faster in my head, it is a cool tool to have. The fit and finish of this watch punches well above it’s price. Movement is smooth, all parts are tight, and the watch has perfect proportions. Presentation is good as well. I think Tissot does a great job with packaging and other entry level lux brands should take notes, but the Glycine is not disappointing. Highly recommend this watch.

      Glycine Airman, perfect for the traveller.

      The watch I received is a new pre invicta Glycine Airman GL00069 with the old logo. Its a 42mm watch but wears more like a 40mm. the quality of manufacture is perfect as to be expected from a top Swiss manufacturer. The movement has been well regulated and keeps very good time with a transparent case back the movement can be seen in all its glory. I have put the watch on a sony Wena active smartband instead of the band that came with it, and get all my notifications as well as the satisfaction of wearing a well made piece of Swiss horological engineering and a perfect addition to my collection. Setting the watch is a typical GMT action. The lume is excellent . Given the history of Glycine everyone should have an example in their collection.
