        Love my rewinder!

        I still love my VHS tapes, but my VCR rewind function wasn't working properly. I was thrilled to find that you could still get the separate rewinders on e-bay. This product works great, came before the last delivery date mentioned, and was very well-packed. I am extremely pleased. The question about whether or not it has good image quality does not apply, since it is just a rewinder, not a player.

        Autostop function broke after one rewind

        Radio Shack VHS tape rewinder. Like most rewinder brands it was made in China by an unknown manufacturer. It worked fine the first 2 rewinds. Now the autostop and open function is not working. It rewinds the tape but you must be nearby to eject the tape to prevent breakage. I have a 20 year old rewinder that works better.

        Good quality vcr tape rewinder. Does a good job of rewinding vcr tapes and lid pops up when finished. Can no longer buy in any store. Thank-you e-bay sellers.

        THey don't make 'em like they used to - Heck, they just don't make these anymore

        Like finding an old sweater that used to fit perfectly --- Rewinders wear out ever time and the Radio Shack model has always been dependable -- Glad to find another one.

        it does the job it was meant to

        It works fine for what it is only rewinds one way but it is so hard to find rewinders anymore for a decent price. time will tell how well it holds up, hopefully for a long time.
