    Great simple product that serves its purpose well

    This was perfect for our needs. It blocks easy access to a switch that turns off a garage door opener that is right next to a light switch with the same appearance. If the garage door gets switched off accidentally, there is no way to enter the space without tearing off a door. This simple clear plastic cover provides a physical barrier unless you use one of the access points to deliberately flip the protected switch. Plus it can be felt in the dark, thus helping steer the hand to the proper switch. The cover can be modified to make it easier to reach the switch when necessary. I really appreciate receiving three in the package. I used one and gave two to a friend who needed to prevent people from turning off exterior lights.

    Best Switch Guard on Market

    After trying several different switch guards and reading about several more, I'm convinced that this one is the best available. It offers two levels of security: 1) Leave "as is" and the switch can only be turned on/off with a pencil or dowel; 2) Remove either or both side tabs and the switch can be turned on/off with your finger. We have a very resourceful grandson who loves to turn the lights off & on. He was defeated by this switch cover, even with one of the side tabs removed. Lastly, due to their size and the fact that they are clear, they are hardly noticeable. A very clever and well executed design!

    A clever device to prevent accidentlly turning lights on

    I have several light switches in my house that are not close to the lights. So, often, someone unknowingly turns the light on and it may remain on for days until my wife or I spot the problem. These simple devices install easily and prevent the accidental turn on.

    Great product!

    This is my second purchase of this product, bought for a friend who was so impressed with ours ("It sure looks better than my masking tape over the switch!") that he was going to have his wife figure out where to buy it. This has kept our grandkids (and my husband) from accidentally turning off our motion sensor lights.
