A Christmas Carol (Both Colorized and Black & White Edition). This is appreciated.

There are some years when you enjoy watching these and they are not always on regular television or on Netflix or the like. So, owning some of these are good to have. It is nice to own a few different ones, of these Christmas Carol, if just to see how things have evolved. The wonderful things that good men have brought to us over time is realized.

  • The Best Version Of This Classic DVD Movie

This is an older version of the "A Christmas Carol" movie, which has since been performed by many other capable actors. However, in my opinion, this is the best version of them all. Alistair Sims is excellent and believable as a miserly Scrooge who, with spooky promptings, eventually becomes a loving, charitable person. The Victorian settings are realistically shown. This particular 1999 DVD edition comes in the original black and white, plus with a color option. This classic deserves to be a family tradition, to be watched every Christmas season, and makes a wonderful gift.

  • Best classic version of A Christmas Carol.

Great acting and very entertaining. Alistair Sim is nicer version of scrooge making a more family friendly movie. A plus is the colorized version that really brings the picture to life. Also has subtitles which makes it nice for those hard of hearing or just clarifying those hard to understand dialogues.

  • Great family movie.

Love this movie just have never seen it on color. It just makes it better. I would highly recommend this movie for a gathering of family at Christmas time. Very entertaining, and even modern kids would lay down phones, tablets, ect. to watch.

  • Entertaining, classic, Christmas, color enhanced

Saw a portion of this movie on TV and was glad to find a colorized version. This British version is well acted and entertaining to watch. A classic Christmas movie that reminds us how lucky most of us are compared to Victorian England.
