        Genuine Kohler Part

        The real thing. This package also includes the Replacement Handle Adapter 1014332. The adapter is a small piece of plastic that allows this cartridge to be used with a larger Handle size. This small plastic POS sells for $6.85. This is half the cost of the valve. All I really needed was the plastic adapter, but it was a much better value to order a new valve cartridge and get the adapter for free.

        Fixed leak

        Factory part made the faucet like new. Just try to remove the bonnet without marring it. No o rings in the bigger Forte to worry about.
