      Beginner to photography

      I love this thing! It takes great photos even with just the 18-55mm lens it comes with. However you’ll certainly want a better lens eventually. All in all I’m happy I pulled the trigger and got this. I use it all the time. It has a decent battery that doesn’t take more than a couple hours to fully charge and lasts at least a full day of shooting. (For me at least) It has a mode that explains a lot of its features so if you don’t know anything you can work your way through. I used Youtube videos to learn how to use it and I was rocking and rolling in manual mode before I knew it. Super fun and worth the price.

      Dark Photos

      I updated from a T3i and find that the color and brightness is poor. I purchased this to enhance low light capabilities. I find that the T3i does a better all around job for me. The controls on the T7i are easy to knock off from their settings. The photos are sometimes very dark and the T3i handles the dark rooms better. We are Real Estate Appraisers and take 10000s of photos if homes inside and out every year. I have used Canon cameras for 30 years and until now each seemed to be an improvement. Not this time. I will just set aside the T7i for a backup and try to find a good T3i to go back to. Tamron 10-24 is an appraisers go to lens for interior work. Will not work on the T7i. I sent it back to Tamron to make sure it was not the problem.

      Fantastic camera. Really like it. Picture quality is awesome and a camera is bundled with zoom lenses and various other goodies make is a perfect tool for a intermediate photographer like me. I have a lot of fun taking pictures in different light conditions and they are gorgeous. I like WiFi and Bluetooth and remote controls. They are very handy in certain cases. Highly recommend the camera.

      Great Upgrade

      This is an upgrade. Have been using Canon Rebels for years. Image resolution noticeably better than previous cameras. Like the new features including WiFi to upload to my phone.
