    Wish it could come de-assisted from factory

    This is a great EDC knife. The fit and finish are superb!! However I wish Benchmade would offer a factory de-assisted version. For a person with somewhat arthritic hands the assisted version can be hard to operate and of course is more difficult to close one handed. This is the reason for the 4 star rating. I also wish Benchmade would consider offering a version of their knives with the very serviceable, but more inexpensive steel such as 440C, Japanese AUS-8 or even Chinese 8 or 9Cr13Mov inorder to keep their knives a bit more affordable. In closing I would recommend both this knife or the Mini Griptilian. If you have larger hands the Mini Barrage has a slightly longer handle.

    Legit Benchmade! Super light use to it. Knife is perfect. Added a drop of Knife Pivot lube works great opens nice and quick. No blade play perfect centering like new condition. Very solid. Would definitely buy again.

    High quality steel, spring assist American made pocket knife

    I wanted a new pocket knife (TSA got my old one when I forgot to take it off my key chain prior to flying) and started doing research to find what I was looking for when I found the Benchmade mini barrage. It was rated very highly in all the categories that I was searching AND it is made in the United States. When I received it and have used it, it is quite obvious why it was so highly acclaimed! Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for extreme high quality in an American made pocket knife!
