    Vater sticks are the best out there!

    Been playing drums for over 50 years, working 5-8 nights per month right now. Was using Remo, and also Vic Firth. Have switched all my sticks in all stick bags to Vater. Play 5B and 7A nylon tip. Also like the Vater whips. The best part is quality wood, the pairs are matched with weight, and are straight. Gone are the days of going to the local large music store and rolling several pair of sticks, to check straightness and to match pairs. Vater has done this now, and am very pleased with all of their products.

    A great pair

    I have used these Vater Manhattan sticks for many years. The sticks have a long slender neck for great response off cymbals and have a great dynamic range, playing great soft or loud.

    They are a lighter stick than i usually ...

    They are a lighter stick than i usually use. Because of the density of the hickory and being slightly longer, they balance well in the hands. I havnt used nylon tips in years, but i like the way they sound on cymbals., not too bright, just good articulation.
