      I love my purchase , it arrived promptly and in good condition, however as expected from and old garment had a very strong odor. I investigated how it could be cleaned, so I followed carefully the instructions. Unfortunately once in the water the fringe desintegrated to my desmay. The shawl is still wearable thank goodness. The silk embroidered part is still beautiful and I intend to repair it .It would be a good idea to include the odor of the garment in its description and airing would help.
