      Design has flaws but reasonably solid semi drop-in solution

      SKS picatinny rail requires some gunsmithing particularly the permanent removal of the dust cover takedown pin. Not particularly confident in the need of multiple different Allen screws sizes and which are required to have in order for field stripping the receiver. Zero will be lost after each field stripping so you will need to reference the zero roughly with the iron sights. The underside of the rail is also glossy/reflective when viewing iron sights, most particularly in low light conditions with a WML. Otherwise fairly solid mounting base for a 1x prism sight with a relatively simple amount of gunsmithing needed. Will have to buy a new dust cover takedown pin in the event the rifle reverts back to the original setup.
