    New beaters give new life to an old handmixer

    New beaters for a 40-year old Kitchen Aid handmixer that never says die! One of the blades on the original set finally gave way after many years of use and eventually it created a "splatter" situation. I was delighted to find replacement blades on eBay. They fit the trusty, old mixer perfectly and hopefully will give us many years of use.

    'Whisk'-type beaters for electric hand mixer fit other brands

    I looked closely at the picture of these beater whisks before purchasing them and their ends (i.e., the shaft that actually inserts into my electric hand mixer's body) appeared close enough in design to the current regular beater 'blades' that typically are sold with most standard mixers, that i felt they would work. Even though i obviously couldn't measure them for exact fit, i figured that they were inexpensive enough to take a chance and purchase them. They ended up fitting & working perfectly with my cheap Hamilton Beach electric hand mixer... no problems with them not staying securely locked within the unit until i was done making meringues, mixing cake batter, and what-not. There was no excess 'wobble', a feeling of looseness or rattling, etc.; they were snug throughout use.

    Just what I want & need!

    I purchased my hand mixer years ago at a pawn shop. It came with two sets of blades that did not match the mixer. It was cheap and it worked. The blades did not properly fit the mixer and were difficult to clean. Now I have a set of blades that fit my hand mixer and are easy to clean!!

    It Made My Day

    I was delighted to find these beaters online, my old ones broke , when I found these on eBay (for a reasonable price)they were exactly the ones I needed to replace the old ones! Horray I could keep my Kitchen Aid hand mixer instead of buying a new one!!
