    I guess it is alright

    Android apps worked great. Covers wide range of frequencies. Selectivity not too good. Local FM channels received but low quality. I would not use it for FM on my android. I was hopeful I could use it to listen to ham and shortwave. Oh well, it still works as advertised.

    NooElec does the job

    THe NooElec Mini2+ is a vast improvement on previous RTL type SDR dongles. Frequency stability is now comparable to an expensive ham receiver even above 1GHz. The TCXO was pretty well spot on 'out of the box' and I was able to monitor beacons and narrow band digital modes at 1296MHz for several hours without having to correct for drift. For the price the NooElec Mini2+ is unbeatable Richard (Dick) G4BBH

    Simple and cheap

    I've been in radio for fifty years. This simple dongle seems to good to be true! Even though I am not a computer wizard I was able to set up the software and am having a ton of fun playing with it
