    Royal Mail tried to deliver the item yesterday evening, but didn't leave a card as I wasn't home. Amended to collect from local PO, & rec'd item on 3rd visit. Not sure 20" square x 2" deep box was appropriate packaging, especially as shaft had 'escaped' and RM had repaired box. Shaft itself was quite rusty (typical of NOS) other than threaded-ends (which were protected with rubber caps so ok)
